*The Christmas season is nearly here and it is entirely obvious when you walk into most stores these days. Traditional Christmas decorating ideas are all you see.
It’s really an odd juxtaposition. You see Christmas decor ideas mixed right in with Halloween decor and not one mention of what is seemingly the forgotten holiday in the retail world, Thanksgiving. I guess if it’s not making them any money, it isn’t worth their time. It’s sad really. The Christmas season means different things to different people. Some see it as the time period of when Jesus was born, others see it as a time of celebration and beautiful decorations and others, a marketing scheme to make money. Either way, I can say the Christmas season is truly a lot of fun and full of things to see and do.
There is no shortage of traditional Christmas decorating ideas. Walking through the stores you’ll find giant inflatables that quickly catch the eyes of little children and you’ll find a plethora of classy Christmas decor of all styles and tastes.

And what better place to get crafty than Pinterest! Pinterest Christmas craft ideas are never ending. I actually never considered having a Christmas tree in every room until I went to a friends house and noticed that they had three trees in different areas of their home and it looked surprisingly lovely, as opposed to looking like your house is being taken over by a small forest. The twinkling Christmas lights really added quite the unexpected ambiance throughout.
And what child wouldn’t want a tree in their room? Whether it’s a little green baby tree bringing in just the right amount of Christmas magic…
Or a winter white tree perfect for a teens room
