When it came time to plan a 5th birthday party for Isley, a tea party made perfect sense. Though she is tough tumble and competitive, she is also my twirly girly. Seriously this kid covers the every kid gamut and I love it. She’s way more girly than I ever was as a kid. It only made sense that a tea party was in order for this little beauty.

I was thrilled when I decided to do the tea party idea. I wanted it to be feminine, charming, a bit old fashioned, yet perfect for little girls.
Her cake certainly had to fit the theme

When planning the party, one of the first things that I did was head to goodwill. It was the perfect place to get several sets of teacups and saucers at a next to nothing cost

I went to the dollar store and purchased artificial peony’s and roses to add some floral beauty to the treat tablescape.

The Sweets & Treats Continue
The strawberry cupcakes and pink strawberry twizzlers add to the PRETTY! The treat tablescape needed to be something that appealed to every little girl. It needed to be fun, feminine and entirely intriguing. I wanted a table that made the kiddos want to eat absolutely everything.

You might have noticed, to keep with the old fashioned tea party look, I used a lacy tablecloth and doilies!! I was entirely tickled with the look

Time For Some Fun!
There were tea party crafts that the kiddos enjoyed

And when it was time to eat, of course we needed a lovely table fit for a bunch of beautiful party goers

My husband made the balloon garland and we saved money by making the sparkly name with foam board and glitter

I made cute little cups filled with pretzels and goldfish, cups with celery and carrot sticks with ranch dressing in the bottom of the cups, cheese and olive trays, heart shaped peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, flower shaped ham and cheese sandwiches, and circle pizza bites. In addition to all of this we also had fruit trays, chicken wings and more veggies for bigger appetites and for the parents who were there.

I purchased the adorable plastic three tiered plate stands from Amazon. They are as lovely as porcelain, but perfectly plastic for the littles! I already owned the pretty pearls, from a play that my family was in a few years prior. The paper napkins, cups and plates (because I certainly wasn’t giving them the delicate dishware) were also from Amazon! And the pastel striped straws were purchased from party city I think. I cut them in half to fit perfectly into the girlies drinking cups if they wanted them.

They drank, water, lemonade and tea! Decaf of course😊

This was truly an event to remember

Needless to say, this was another fun family memory when everything was normal with all of us here. Just so wonderful.

We were our version of perfect❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a blessing to have such a celebration for our precious baby girl. She was overjoyed. We all loved it!
